When 2013 entered, the stones were completely settled on YouTube. It is possible to see this with numbers. Turning into a platform where the duration of the video uploaded every minute reaches 100 hours and the number of monthly visitors exceeds 1 billion, YouTube has managed to rank among the top 5 most used social networks in the world and in Turkey .

YouTube isn’t just targeting businesses or adult users. Children are just as important to YouTube as adult users. For this purpose, YouTube developed a special application for children (Youtube Kids) in February 2015 and published it on Google Play and APP Store.

The update in 2015 is not limited to this. In the same year, game lovers are not forgotten and a sub-platform called “Youtube Gaming” is created.

What is YouTube?

In its most basic sense, Youtube is a social network that offers its users the opportunity to upload their videos and watch the videos uploaded by other users. Therefore, when social networks are categorized, it is possible to define a “video”-oriented social network for Youtube.
